i want to know a few tips on how to wear blush and where you should really put it and what color is best i have been told orange but . . .Makeup blush question?
Wow, interesting, that first answer you got is an exact ';replica'; of the one I got to my question. Someone is trying to drum up business here, but not answer questions. Orange blush? Like peach? I have olive skin tone and olive green eyes, and the peach tones look good on me. If you have blue eyes, fair skin, and light hair, that might not work. If you are fair, you likely need a pinkish tone. As far as where to put it, smile and put it on the ';apple'; of your cheek, the round part that sticks out when you smile. Don't go overboard, and blend from back to front to avoid a line. If you can see the edges of where you applied it once you are done, use a tissue to smudge the edges out. You want to look natural; less is more with blush.Makeup blush question?
Ok - step away from the orange!
Do you want to look like you've been tango-ed???
If you're pale, go for a rosy colour, if you're a medium skin tone, go for a darker pinky kinda colour. If you've got an olive/dark skin tone, you could use bronzer in a browny colour.
Either way, if it's a powder blush, get a large brush, and sweep it from the apple of your cheeks, right to the edge of your hairline. Press down a little harder at first, and gentler towards the edge of your face so the majority of the colour goes on first.
If you're unsure about blush as a whole, then don't get a cream one. They're harder to apply, and you have to get the colour dead on. I'd stick with powders.
If you're really unsure, many cosmetic shops (such as Boots) and big department stores with make up counters have women there to help you pick your shade. They'll be able to tell you exactly which colour suits you, and will often put a tester on for you to try it out.
As she's doing this, ask how she's applying it, and she'll probably tell you exactly how it's done.
If you don't feel like doing that, there's a really good make up artist who gives make up tutorials on youtube. Check out her channel, i'll leave you the link below.
Hope this helps x
It depends on the color of your skin and it's tone. Do you want a more natural looking color, more of a pink color, or more of a bronzer? Peach is a pretty color on everyone..it's summer so go for more of a lighter bronzer peach. Smile big and put the blush on your cheeks. Don't over do it. I like to put some lotion in the palm of my hands just enough to where my hands are a little damp and pad over my cheeks to give it a dewy natural look! It looks beautiful. Good Luck!!!
i'm sure you've got some great tips there
i'm huge fan of blush , it make any face glow... how you wear it depends on your face , smaller cheeks can just dab some on the apples of your cheek , larger or if you want to define your cheeks more contour with a bronzer or darker color.
what ever you do , if you use a gold or pearl shimmer lightly over your blush it really gives you're cheeks a nice translucent glow
well the best i find is the one that has a bunch of colors in it.. like this one http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h鈥?/a>
it mixes a variety of shades and comes up with a good mild blush color that is not too pink or too pale.
Since it is also summer i would suggest also using some bronzer..
how to apply it.. get a kabooki brush http://www.target.com/LA-Splash-L-A-Kabu鈥?/a>
and apply it in a circular motion on your cheek bones.. i usually pass the brush on the tip of my nose and chin and middle of forehead to even out my face color (just lighly)
your blush color should be the color your cheeks turn when you work out. apply it with a fluffy blush brush on your cheek bones or the apples of your cheeks. try out different things too see what looks best to you.
pucker ur lips up and put it along your cheek bones, but not too much
