Which mascara, blush and foundation is the best for me????
HELP!Im a ';tween';, and i am just starting to wear makeup such as mascara , blush and foundation.?
Well it totally depends on your skin tone and type but as you're young you want to keep it fresh faced!!
Most important, don't get a foundation that makes you look orange!! You will regret it!
The best thing to do is ask the staff at where ever you get your make up from (Boots is best if you're in the UK), they have expertise in the topic and will soon show you the best make up for your look!

Clinique and NYC are pretty good.
If you can spend a bit more Mary-Kay is good ;o
lol im a tween to and I use clinique make-up it's kinda expensive but i love it!!
I'd keep the foundation and stuff light. I'm 24, and I don't like to cake all that crap on. I wear Neutrogena sheer minerals powder foundation. It's light coverage, but it looks natural. I don't wear blush, so I can't help you there. Make sure you use moisturizer under your foundation so it won't look flaky.
I use Almay eye makeup (mascara and eyeliner). I have really sensitive eyes, and wear contacts, so that stuff is really good. If you have dark hair, you can go with black, but if you're blond like me, you might want to stick with black/brown. As far as eyeshadow goes, you should read some articles in magazines (such as cosmo). They always have good tips on how to get certain looks. Just remember that when it comes to makeup, a little bit goes a long way. You want to accent what you have, not cover it up.
go into a sephora, and they will pick out all colors, shades, and types of mascara, etc for you.
plus, they do it for you so you can see what it looks like.
its fun, i do it all the time! :)
suggest O-glo, and Savila foundation from Coonobabe

Gurl, first of all-you are SO lucky! Tweens have the best skin and they always have the best (fun) time experimenting with makeup. Here's my advice.....
Mascara: Maybelline-try first, a clear mascara, then opt for a brown mascara (if your fair skined, light haired) or a black mascara (if your darker skined, dark haired).
Blush: I would recommend Clinique blushes, light (pale) pink (if your fair/light) or rosy pink (if your tanner/darker).
Foundation: Gurl, tweens DO NOT need all of that heavy, cakey foundation. Your skin is good with just the basics of: concealer (matching your skin tone), and a oil-free moisturizer (with SPF). If you must have more coverage, then opt for a tinted moisturizer.
***Hope this helps! Please, answer my question-my username is karihighman-thanks! :-)***
You are young enough to not wear foundation. You probably won't need foundation until High School. Get Maybelline mascara in the pink tube with the green lid. Its usually around $4 at Walmart. Cover Girl Cheekers blush is great for starters too. Usually around $4. Play with eyeshadow until you find a look you like. Look at magazines or on internet for ideas. Have fun!
